The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Expedite and report progress of UK/Holland supplied Valves. (Oliver/Emerson/Dresser/Kent Introl et al.) & in support of Senior Mechanical Buyer with expediting and reporting progress of mechanical & instrumentation packages. Report progress to Buyers on a daily/weekly basis as and when required. This position will be liaising with suppliers in the North of England and the Midlands so home location can be flexible.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced Expeditor with proven track record. Must be a self starter. Able to work with minimum supervision. Experienced with working in suppliers facilities and progressing orders through the manufacturing and fulfilment cycle.
Member of or studying towards attainment of MCIPS qualification and accreditation.
Good technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and product knowledge. Knowledge of the company systems and culture a distinct advantage.
MS Office knowledge mandatory. MS Project knowledge advantageous.
Previous experience in a similar role relevant to the Oil and Gas Industry.
