The Company:
Our client is an engineering company specialised in industrial facilities, particularly oil refineries and LNG facilities.

The Role:
1. Reviews and checks the inspection schedule prepared by the inspection group and monitors inspection progress.
2. When field design changes are requested by the client, prepares change order requests offering cost and schedule effects.
3. Prepares mark-up drawings for as-built drawings.
4. Inspects equipment when received at the site.
5. Assists the warehousing supervisor in storing and protecting the equipment and materials in custody.
6. Prepares the detailed procedures to maintain the specified quality level when required.
7. Prepares local purchase and suncontract requisitions requests the administration group for field purchase and subcontract and evaluates vendor and subcontractor's quotation technically.
8. Initiates field change notices, additional work orders and back charge notices.
9. Maintains expenditures for field purchased materials within the established budget.
10. Prepares documents answering client's queries on engineering matters.
11. Makes material takeoffs and cost estimate for change work and remaining work for the purpose of material control and cost control.
12. Working with the subcontractor in adjustment of inspection schedule and prepares necessary inspection equipment.
