The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
An opportunity is now available for a Field Medical Coordinator to join the team based in Perth. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Supervise work of contract field medical service providers to align with FFD requirements for all workers, including members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Coordinate annual employee Emergency Response Team (ERT) medical examinations as per FFD process
• Assist coordination of injury/illness Management for return to work cases at site
• Assist in management of any breach D&A policy cases at site
• Manage all the H&M Medevac Process cases Develop and assist Implementation of Emergency Medical Response strategies and plans
• Oversee Medical Emergency Management processes and plans in support of Asset / MCP groups to ensure the timely and effective management of personnel
• Oversee development of Medical Emergency response scenarios for project and asset teams
• Actively communicate with State and Federal Disaster Planning Unit (DPMU) to ensure seamless integration with State Disaster planning efforts.
• Liaise with the Occupational Physician and Chief Medical Officer on all Emergency Medical planning strategies and actions.
• Assist in medical emergency response, including trauma management and public health incidents, along with contracted medical service providers.
• Ensure coordination, performance, and reporting of regular medical emergency response drills. Project / Contract Management related to Third Party performance
• Review and identify organisational gaps relative to routine clinical and medical emergency management
• Provide advice and assistance to MCP EPcM groups relative to Chevron Clinical and Emergency Medical Management requirements
• Actively participate as a member of APPEA (WARAME) group to ensure effective management of aero medical retrieval assets including fixed and rotary wing SAR aircraft
• Undertake scheduled audits of WARAME aircraft to ensure effectiveness of service
• Undertake scheduled audits of Drill site medical facilities to ensure effective level of service provision and capability
• Provide functional guidance and technical direction on clinical service expectations and medical emergency issues.
• Liaise with the Occupational Physician and Chief Medical Officer on all contract clinical and emergency medical management plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will have a Degree in Occupational Health Nursing or be a RN, additionally you will require:

• A minimum of 8 years experience in medical emergency management and Occupational Health FFD programmes
• An ability to work within a team and independently, prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities and projects.
• Takes initiative based on strategic departmental and business plans.
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organisation to effectively convey ideas, motives and demonstrate subject matter expertise.
• Demonstrate excellent technical proficiency with Microsoft suite.
• Ability to consistently apply attention to detail with all aspects of scope of work, whilst maintaining the highest level of medical confidentiality.

This position is a 6 month contract working an 8 hour day, 5 days per week.
