The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Fircroft have been asked to source a Field Operations Manager to oversee the management of operations and maintenance teams at site, within the pipelines and field engineering areas.

• Work for a major CSG project owner
• Permanent staff role
• FIFO 19/9 roster to Chinchilla

The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for providing assistance, support and strategic development to the Field Manager. Working for the project owner it is important that you are able to effectively communicate with professionals at various levels.

Typically, the incumbent will liaise with departments in Brisbane to ensure there is an effective handover to the operations stage and assist the Field General Manager where required.

Responsibilities:
• Providing strategic advice and recommendations across relevant areas
• Delivery of Field Operations Administration. Specifically, HSSE performance, Plant Uptime, Production, Operating Expense and Maintenance Backlog
• Responsible for budget development, management and periodic screenings in line with strategic direction and business plans
• Developing and implementing field operation projects or programs
• Ensuring that operations are consistent with company policies and legislative requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualified, or equivalent years experience in operations
• Senior Strategic level experience in operations and infrastructure
• Experience in the development of policies, procedures and plans
• Ability to provide high level strategic advice
• Experience in a similar role in the Oil & Gas industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered member of relevant institution
• Experience working on major LNG projects
