The Role:
An exciting opportunity has opened up with our client a Supplier and Installer of Ducting (HVAC) for the Oil and Gas industry.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic professional sales engineer, hungry for a challenge. Someone who can make a real difference and grow the business.
Our clients business strategy is to expand into other fabricated product markets where they already work with clients in the O&G sector and are looking to grow this side of the business.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achievement of agreed targets
• Converting sales leads into profitable orders
• Promote the companies capabilities in the design, modification and installation of modular processing systems
• Identifying and winning business from target companies
• Understanding the clients requirements and matching these to the company’s Modular Processing Solutions
• Target end users to offer a part or full turnkey ‘Processing Solution’
• Weekly written reports on sales performance and revenue
• Work collaboratively with estimating teams – providing information as required
• Build effective cross functional working relationships between Sales, Engineering and Production
• Assisting with the preparation and attending conferences and exhibitions
• Actively promote the Company’s commitments to the Core Values.
• Adhere to all H&S policies and procedures at all times.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Background in Engineering – BSc in engineering - Preferred
• Experience selling to the Oil & Gas industry – ability to lobby the Oil & Gas industry to grow the business
• Strong communication skills
• Relationship builder
• Strong customer focus
• Tenacious and resourceful
• Flexible with an ability to plan and adapt/respond to change quickly
• Commercial awareness
• Proactive
• Excellent attention to detail
• Team player – working closely and effectively across functional teams
• Organised
• Accountable
• A driven & motivated individual
