The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Primary role is the support of our customer sinstalled base of robots in UK & IE 24/7.

Main Accountabilities:

• Reactive service activities to our customers 24/7
• Commissioning, technical support and assistance to customers on clients robots and associated products.
• Working with customer and clients gain good understanding of specific robot software for particular customers.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of clients robots and associated products used in Automotive industry
• Efficiently diagnose and repair clients robots and associated equipment. Electro Mechanical and software.
• Provide call-out cover outside of normal working hours on a periodic basis
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge in process applications relevant to particular customer requirements.
• Provide on-site installation and commissioning of robotic based solutions.
• Provide support to service desk team within the Field Service (e.g. Telephone technical support, RSI activities)
• Provide support to contract engineering team within the Service departments (e.g. cover for Site Resident Engineers, PPM activities)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Achieving individual and department-wide goals and targets as agreed with line manager.
• To value team working and work collaboratively within own unit and across units with colleagues and peers.
• To work with professionalism, responsibility, respect and determination.
• Flexibility as we run a 24/7 support structure
• Weekend working
• Weekend working for above
• Able to travel within UK and Europe
• Formal Electrical, Mechanical or software qualifications

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Have process knowledge in one or more disciplines – welding, riveting, handling, paint.
• Have a working knowledge of control systems, I/O, PLC and fieldbus communication.
