The Role:
The Field Static Equipment Engineer is expected to be able to work independently or identify the need for additional specialized resources in:

- Providing oversight and leadership to module yard contractor with respect to static equipment & piping technical and quality issues that arise during the construction period.
- Providing oversight and leadership to Capture construction contractor with respect to static equipment & piping technical and quality issues that arise during the construction period.
- Providing oversight and leadership to Pipeline construction contractor with respect to static equipment & piping technical and quality issues that arise during the construction period. This will include support for shop fabrication skids.
- Actively participate in onsite HSE activities such as HSE interventions, safety walks, HSE meetings and if required review of critical task planning (such as pneumatic testing).
- Opportunities may exist to participate in the preparation of new welding procedures for the CO2 pipeline (high toughness required) and for implementation of a large scale orbital semi automatic welding program at the site.
- Participate in quality reviews, construction site flawless program and final inspections throughout construction and prior to turnover of process systems.
- Provide responses to contractor generated technical deviations, requests for information (RFI), field change notifications (FCN), etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Approximately 10 years of professional experience delivering or supporting static equipment and piping in a project environment. Experience in both Upstream and Downstream businesses would be an asset. Major project experience
Qualifications:

Successful applicant needs to have the competencies required for TA3 in static equipment engineering or materials & corrosion integrity engineering discipline.

The static equipment engineer should preferably have BS or higher degree in mechanical, materials Engineering. He/she is expected to have a sound background in engineering, as well as significant knowledge in the fields of pressure piping & equipment and pipelines
