Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Role : Field Support Vessel Representative

Duration :On Going

Status: Rotation offshore 28x28

This role is in the Subsea Operations Team based on the FSV offshore Angola, and is primarily focussed on the day to day management of a field support vessel, engaged in construction and IRM scope in a deepwater field.

Responsibilities
•Play a leading role in the promotion of an excellent HSE culture, and demonstrate Clients Angola’s commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest possible standards of HSE.
•To establish and maintain constructive relationships within the Subsea operations team and also with key Contractor Personnel
•Ensure that the Client Project Block HSSE Policies, Procedures and rules are implemented on the FSV and that the Contractors adhere to & conduct their Operations in accordance with their Company SMS.
•Work with Subsea planning team and FSV ops lead to ensure work is optimised and completed within the schedule requirements.
•Provide support and construction input into project Procedure reviews and communicate comments to the Engineering Team ashore
•Responsible for the management of all offshore work scope activities, and ensuring all offshore work is executed safely & efficiently following the approved procedures etc.
•Responsible for liaison with the FPSO and the preparation & coordination of all ISSOW & SIMOP’s PTW’s relative to the FSV SOW.
•Ensure that risk assessments and asociated actions are closed out prior to ops commencing, and risk assessment meetings, and tool box talks are arranged onboard the FSV as appropriate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The role requires the successful candidate to have broad industry experience and possess knowledge of the design, operation and inspection of subsea equipment including trees, manifolds and connector systems. The ideal candidate would be experienced subsea project engineer, with specific experience in the subsea inspection field, and the following profile;

Experience of Client, another operator, or a Contracting company engaged in subsea vessel operations.
 At least many number of years diversified experience in oil and gas industry in the subsea operations field, with at least a certain number of years in a vessel supervisory position.
A detailed understanding of subsea industry inspection methodologies, techniques and standards and deepwater offshore construction and installation techniques.
An understanding of planning and budget control systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
In addition to the essential criteria noted above the, it would be desirable for the successful candidate to have the following attributes;

•Marine qualifications e.g. Master Mariner
•A working knowledge of Client Group Marine Assurance Standards, ETP’s and group practices.
