The Role:
This role provides the individual with a great opportunity to work as part of the Europe Commercial Finance team and to gain a broad understanding of the marketing and support activities in Europe Commercial.

The client is looking for a fresh Graduate (2015) with a minimum 2:1 in a Business related degree
This position is Entry Level so little working experience is required.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead role in the invoicing and settlement process for all commodities
• Perform netting process of payables and receivables and ensure the Balance Sheet accounts show the correct balances and provide netting analysis
• Gas transportation cost accruals and reporting
• Upload gas pool volumes into the Claims Validations Agency (CVA) twice weekly for counterparty matching and close the process monthly
• Review of intercompany and intracompany for balancing
• Daily broker reconciliations between trade capture system and clearing broker reports for Crude derivatives activity
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with company Accounting Policy requirements
• Run daily payment report checks for Crude marketing activity
• Prepare month-end accounting journal entries for input into SAP
• Ad-Hoc project work
Qualifications

Education/Experience:
• Recent graduate with Bachelor degree or similar in Business, Finance or Accounting
Critical Skills:
• Strong organization skills including ability to work independently, prioritize activities, meet commitments, and manage time effectively
• Focused and methodical.
• Numeric and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
