The Company:
A major Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
Position Responsibilities
• Interface between the Cost team and the Finance team
• AFE Clean up coordinator
• All AFE requests, new AFEs, change of owners, SO approval routes etc.
• AFE forecasting quarterly to reset AFE budgets
• Coordinator of AFE over-budget resolution
• New report requests from Cost to Finance
• Coordination of Ariba, JDE, Insight, SimSmart access and training for cost team
• Storage of finance data on SharePoint for use by Cost and Business Planning
• Coordinate the VOWD submission to Finance and resolve any queries
• Collation and submission of Cash Call requests for finance
• Maintenance of VOWD procedure
• Develop and maintain Finance Interface agreement
• Cost representative on any P2P issues
Requirements
• Degree qualified
• Finance background preferred
• Project experience required
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in cost or finance role
• Great communication skills
• Good Excel skills and database knowledge
• Needs to enjoy detail and produces quality checked output
• Can work to tight deadlines
• Motivated and needs minimal direction
Reporting Lines
• Part of the FB Central Team
• Reports to the Cost Manager
• Interfaces with the Cost Supervisors, Finance Manager and other Finance persons

Owners & Engineering Cost Supervisor
Position Responsibilities
• Responsible for the quality of the cost reporting of Engineering and Owners team Offshore
• Develops and maintains procedure and processes to ensure quality cost reporting
• Responsible for the development and facilitation of a cost readiness plan
• Liaises with the ‘customers’ to develop reporting dashboards to provide useful information to the budget holders
• Timely, quality checked VOWD submissions
• Timely, quality checked VOWD submissions
• Responsible for approx. $5B scope covering the following areas: EPCm contracts, 3rd Party contracts, Labour costs and Owners team costs
• Supervision of 4 Cost Engineers
Requirements
• Degree qualified
• Project experience required
• Responsible for >$1B project costs
• Client & Contractor experience preferred
• Minimum 10 years’ cost experience
• Great communication skills
• Good management skills
• Good Excel skills and database knowledge
• Needs to enjoy the big picture and not get too involved in the detail
• Can work to tight deadlines
• Motivated and needs minimal direction
Reporting Lines
• Part of the FB Execution Team
• Responsible for 4 Cost Engineers
• Reports to the Offshore Cost Supervisor
• Interfaces with the Cost Supervisors, Reporting Lead, Change Coordinator
