The Role:
Position Summary:
The position will provide Financial Management in the areas of financial reporting and control, costing, forecasting and budgeting for all companies included in the complex Azerbaijan structure, consisting of 4 Companies. It will also have responsibility for maintaining financial standards and procedures, system implementation and development, adherence to corporate policies including Bill 198 and Alliance Agreement.


DUTIES
FINANCIAL REPORTING
1.Management of monthly Company reporting packages for the 4 Caspian –°ompanies.
CONTINUITY OF FINANCIAL REPORTING
2.Implement and manage systems and process to ensure the continuity of financial reporting. Continuous improvement of systems and processes to adapt to the changing requirements of the organization. Management of Bill 198 internal audit requirement. External Audit participation as required.
ALLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
3.Communication with business partners (SOCAR and CPC) on matters of importance, negotiation on business issues that arise and participation in Alliance board meetings, including financial presentations as required.
TAXATION and Country legislation
4.Review of complex taxation issues ensuring that the Company is both compliant and tax efficient. Ensure that the company is compliant with the country’s legislation.
INTERNAL MANAGEMENT
5.Manage the finance department (including 4-5 members of staff) to monitor and follow up and develop each individual in the Financing department.
POLICY
6.Responsibility to ensure that all reporting (Local and Corporate) adhere to Company Policy and Procedures, and provide direction of Company Policy and Procedures to staff and management within the business unit.
MANAGEMENT REPORTING
7.Supervise and manage the Internal Management Reporting – on a periodic basis (daily, weekly, monthly) utilizing current systems and where necessary develop improvements to the system.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Good leadership and communication skills
-Superior knowledge in accounting principles and procedure (Azerbaijan and IFRS)
-Knowledge of the complex Azerbaijan Financial and Legal systems
-Experience of working within a JV or Alliance environments (not essential)
-Analytical and problems solving skills
-Ability and desire to work with limited supervision, at the same time ability to work in team.
-Experience in reporting in a corporate environment.
