The Role:
Transferable SC Clearance required
Candidates must have worked in a secure environment in the last 12 months.

* Responsibility to maintain ongoing cash position in line with the business forecasts & requirements and highlight risks to the programme line Finance Business Partner in a timely manner.
* Prepare the short (3,6 & 12 month) and long term (five-year) cash planning
* Responsibility for UK payroll data files including reconciliations, interfaces and necessary re-allocations.
* Maintain the Treasury policies, procedures & relevant reporting in line with Airbus guidelines and directives.
* Prepare short and medium term foreign currency forecasts and liaise with UK Airbus Treasury experts to ensure that all foreign currency transaction risks are minimised.
* Ensure all monthly, quarterly and annual PAYE and VAT requirements are met and any payments are submitted on time according to HMRC deadlines.
* Half year and annual audit support in relation to accounting and hedging agreements.
* Responsibility of company corporate & purchasing card schemes
* Back up for weekly expense and bi monthly payment runs
* Provide cover for other members of the team in areas of Cash, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
* Supervision of a team of three
* Ad Hoc duties as requested.

Qualifications
* Qualified CIMA/ACCA Accountant (Please note we may consider part qualified Accountants but at a lower rate)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Considerable amount of financial accounting experience including VAT.
* Experience of payroll accounting including tax issues / rules.
* Experience in methods for hedging foreign currency & the accounting treatment
* Ability to organise, schedule and monitor tasks in order to meet strict deadlines and to work well under pressure
* Ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly
* Sound presentation skills and communication (verbal and written) skills
* EXCEL financial modelling skills
* SAP knowledge
* Supervisory skills
