The Company:
Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.

They are one of the world’s leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Financial Transactions Settlement Analyst who will support the company’s Treasury, Insurance & Tax Department. The position sits within the Corporate / Back Office team where you will ensure the “back-office” function of Treasury is operating efficiently and effectively, and adapts to changes in the external environment to meet clients requirements, whilst continuing to operate within the compliance framework. On offer is a 6 months, part-time contract.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Responsible for confirmation and settlement of all treasury transactions in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with Treasury Policy
• Undertake daily and monthly treasury system procedures
• Compilation of monthly Treasury Management Report and other reporting requirements
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for treasury accounts
• Administration and settlement of debt portfolio commitment fees
• Ensure records management is current and accurate, including integrity of static data on treasury system
• Provide assistance to the accounting function in Financial processes.

In order to fulfil the role you must have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following aspects:
• In this role you should have experience in an administrative or accounting support role
• Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail and work within a stringent compliance environment
• Able to prioritise work and adhere to deadlines without direct supervision
• High level of integrity and reliability are essential due to the responsibilities and sensitivity inherent in this role
• Strong team player is essential

• Demonstrable experience working with the following key systems and processes:
o Treasury Management System – REVAL
o Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
o Treasury Policies and Procedures
o Document Management – DRIMS
