The Role:
The role and responsibilities will be to work to the Emergency Response Office Head of Service, through the Emergency Response Systems Advisor, to develop the competency of the current fire fighters. The role will include developing an onsite live fire training capability to support the development of the current fire personnel.

You will be required to advise and assist in establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the BGC Fire Service across the full range of operational risks with BGC activities. They will therefore be required advise on equipment selection and improvements. They will be required to develop Fire Service Pre Incident Plans (PIP) for key hazardous components of BGC plant operations, loading and storage facilities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
15+ years of Fire Service experience with at least 5 years in a command position with industrial fire fighting as a lead concern (Oil & Gas preferably).
Experience of working in H2S risk hazardous environments
Certified Trainer, including SCBA, able to develop and deliver this programme of work.
Able to meet health requirements for working in Iraq (UK Offshore Oil & Gas Industry Health Certification equivalency)
Arabic speaker
Good written and spoken English
