The Role:
Purpose
To support Firefighting Leader in reliability assurance and management of the firefighting equipment/ systems in the refinery.

C. Responsibilities

• To perform this responsibility, minimum works are as follows:
o Develop equipment lists, procedures and checklists for daily check, function inspection of firefighting equipment.
o Instruct firefighting outsourcing members to do check and function inspection of the firefighting equipment/systems for anomalies and deficiencies
o Make reports (daily check, function inspection) and repair orders as needed by accessing equipment data history for compliance with firefighting equipment reliability best practices (current vs. design).
o Develop maintenance programs and make the schedule control of function inspection for Firefighting equipment/ systems. e.g.: routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, modification or calibration for Firefighting equipment/ systems.
o Provide firefighting technical support and expertise in an effort to maintain firefighting equipment reliability and performance for the refinery. Analyze firefighting equipment operating data and evaluate firefighting equipment overall effectiveness.
o Make completion confirmation after repair.
o Supporting criticality assessments of the firefighting equipment/ systems.
o Overseeing application and interpretation of Vietnamese firefighting equipment/ systems codes (especially Circular 52 /2014/TT-BCA Ministry of Police for firefighting equipment maintenance) and other applicable codes and standards (including common industry standards).

D. Accountability, Duty
To address concerns in maintain firefighting equipment reliability and performance.
To be subject to audits on reports in term of firefighting equipment reliability and performance for fire authorities, concerned organizations and lenders.
E. Latitude for Actions or Decisions
Work under Fire fighting Leader
F. Supervisory Responsibility
Direct Supervises: Firefighting Leader
Total Staff Supervised: to be confirmed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Only candidates who already obtain the permission to work in Vietnam would be considered.
A. Requirements

Educational Level : University graduated (Firefighting or Mechanical or Instrument degrees or equivalent)
Work Experience : 5 years working experience in firefighting or maintenance field in oil & gas or petrochemical industry is preferred.
Specialty/Qualification A bachelor’s degree in Firefighting or Mechanical or Instrument degrees or equivalent.
Skills/ Abilities :
- Preferably have field experiences in inspection/ maintenance/ tests of the firefighting systems for industrial facilities.
- Capable to review firefighting project documentation, drawings, equipment specifications and fire system testing procedures.
- Enforcement of the firefighting management measures, fire prevention measures and precautionary approaches
- Write reports (daily check, function inspection) and repair orders to ensure implementation of firefighting.
