The Role:
Primary purpose of this role is to support the development and execution of FLNG opportunities as part of a FLNG Programme office to support the ambitions to develop a number of FLNG projects in continuous improvement over the next decade and remain the worlds leader in this field.

Accountabilities
The FLNG Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for support the technical program to support the pre-DG3 “play to win all” FLNG programme approach.

The FLNG Engineering Coordinator will be supporting engineering activities for the FLNG project portfolio, lead engineering standardization and technology development activities and be responsible for deployment of lessons learned from Prelude and other projects in future FLNGs in a practical way.

Duties will include but not be limited to :
- Be a HSE and Process safety role model in all activities.
- Support in management of engineering resources in project development teams, Project teams, C&P, Project services, STASCo etc.
- Support delivery of Generic program engineering deliverables. This includes design documents (GLUGs), standards, technical tools (incl project controls, estimating planning), and input to execution plans, contracts and procurements processes. This with the objective to increase efficiency and drive optimisation and standardization of engineering solutions
- Set up, develop and maintain a structured program for capturing the lessons learnt of the Prelude project (in support to the Prelude project team) and other relevant source projects and possible LNG operations, and lead the activity to feedback and incorporate these in the FLNG projects work processes
- Support standardization and replication/repeat execution initiatives for the FLNG portfolio designs, which includes technical design aspects, activities on vendor selection and procurement of equipment and other
- Assist the project teams in set up of technical assurance process, quality management systems, and technical reviews, lead support reviews and support to formal reviews

Special challenges include to support the growing portfolio of opportunities and developing these to highly competitive solutions for the FLNG concepts. This will include the learning from and driving the deployment of new technology.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Mature engineering with multidisciplinary engineering experience
• LNG experience (Pre-FEED, Feed)
• Strong network in PTE / E, V and ability to represent the full Engineering community (PTE)
• Ability to develop and drive process and technology solutions, implement in FLNG
• Good interface manager (between disciplines, Process engineering, Contract&Procurement)
• Awareness of substructure and offshore structure design – manage the interface
• Strong leadership skills: collaboration, growth

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to impact through influencing skills, no formal accountability for project development, or technical assurance role
• Connectivity with the engineering discplines as engineering integrator. Empowerment (by PTE and PTU) to represent PTE disciplines around the table, and be seen as spokesman in key discussions, and common initiatives on behalf of PTE (resource planning, definition of scope and deliverables development or standards and replication initiatives, R&D scope),
• Set clear accountability for the job
• Strong interpersonal skills with project development teams (pre, post DG3), members of consistency teams (HSE, OEX, C&P, PTP, Project service)


• Ability to make the real difference by applying integrated engineering approach
• Program office presently ahead of the pack in replication and standardization. All prework is done and PMO is set up to make this a quick success.
• Well placed to include technology development initiatives in new projects.
