The Company:
Global Oil Company looking to add Flow Assurance Engineer to their subsea team working on their most prestigious project.

The Role:
Flow assurance Engineer is responsible for the transfer of flow assurance design and operating strategies and systems guidance by assisting in developing the full suite of validated and tested operating procedures that will be used for safe, optimal and reliable operations.

• Take ownership of the Operating Guidelines and supporting documentation for the project Subsea system
• Take ownership of the supporting system strategies, ensuring that the complex requirements are validated in appropriate operating guideline documentation and are sufficiently clear and unambiguous to be translated into Operating Procedures :These will include the Hydrate, Wax and Liquids Management Strategy.
• Provide clarity of context and intent in the formulation and layout of a suite of Site Operating Procedures that will be written by the Operations Team to operate the complexities of the Subsea gas condensate Subsea Production System (SPS) especially with regard to start, trip and shutdown profiles and associated warm up, cold wave, steady state, cool down, not touch times, direct electrical heating, chemical inhibition and displacement and depressurisation.
• Validate the designed Alarm, Permissive and Interlock content of the control system and maintain an overview of their values and relationships with regard to flow assurance parameters, particularly as they relate to Hydrates. Use continuous improvement and learned results to propose optimal adjustments to productivity and availability.
• Support interfaces with hardware delivery and installation, understanding as-built condition as opposed to design and providing assurance that fully installed and commissioned equipment continues to meet Project flow assurance requirements
• Support integrity assessments, providing input to corrosion and erosion risk assessments as they might impinge on populated integrity management systems (IMS)
• Support advanced dynamic simulation, primarily the FAMS and the OTS the latter also being used to validate procedures as they are written and developed
• Provide input to training and competence initiatives aimed at ensuring the right level of engineer and operator knowledge and organisational capability within the project operations team, the regional asset operating team and the regional subsea operations team
• Engage with internal Functions and Chief Engineers/SETA's to ensure alignment with Functional expectations
• Support the identification of process risks and the delivery of risk actions plans for project.
• Ensure lessons are learned from reviews and audits and analogue operating experience to inform onward engineering design and improve risk management with project design.
