The Company:
Our client, an international oil and gas major operator, is seeking a Flowline Installation Engineer to join one of their major projects.

The Role:
Responsibilities/Duties: 1. Interact with the installation contractor and its subcontractor responsible for the design, fabrication and testing of the PLETs, flowline stalks and installation aids.
2. Interact with the installation contractor in the engineering and development of the installation procedures for the production flowlines/SCRs, PLETs, Subsea Heavy Lifts and flowline appurtenances.
3. Review and effectively comment on contractors' work (i.e. work plans, processes and procedures) for accuracy and applicability to project requirements.
4. Monitor progress / reporting / delivery of major procurement and fabrication items to ensure timely delivery and high quality of finished packages in support of the overall execution plan.
5. Identify inspection requirements with Company's Chief Inspector to secure onsite inspectors.
6. Interact with Company's Marine Warranty Surveyor and third parties (e.g. classification authority representatives), as applicable.
7. Interact effectively with onsite team members and Operations teams to plan and execute the work scope.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key Job Skills/Requirements: 1. History of visible commitment to promoting an incident and injury free culture on the project. Incorporates all HES requirements into final project deliverables for execution and operations.
2. Ten (10) plus years experience in onshore fabrication and marine construction. Engineering degree preferred, but not required.
3. Knowledgeable in deepwater flowline/SCR and subsea equipment fabrication/installation operations. (e.g. pipe welding, flowline installation, heavy lift operations etc.)
4. Proven experience in managing contractor work progress, plans, procedures, schedule and recognizing potential problems and implementing appropriate mitigating action.
5. Works effectively with others and strives to reach agreement on key interface issues. History of strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
20+ years
PE required.
BS, MS Optional BSc (Hons) or MSc (UK)
