The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
Lead Flowline Engineering scope for detailed design completion and follow-on engineering during Execute Stage of Subsea project:

• Flowlines
• Platform spools
• Cluster spools
• Anchor connector and anchor foundations
• Repair systems

• Responsible for flowline mechanical engineering including detailed design completion and follow-on engineering. Supports flowline process and materials engineering by others.
• Responsible for ensuring the design is delivered in compliance with applicable Company Common Processes and Standards, International Codes and Standards.
• Responsible for mechanical interfaces with contractor/3rd parties
• Responsible for verifying that the fabricated and installed system is delivered in accordance with the design specification, that design intent is delivered and that risks are being appropriately managed by the fabrication and installation teams.
• Responsible for review and acceptance of as-built configuration including anomalies, DVRs and NCRs from procurement, fabrication and installation.
• Supports site execution by responding to site queries and proactive engagement with site teams.
• Performs technical reviews of the pipeline system to confirm safe design and quality build during project phases to enable operation within the safe operating envelope during operate phase.
• Responsible for managing changes including review, assessment and implementation.
• Responsible for engineering of flowline and export pipelines repair system.
• Responsible for pipeline engineering input to the flowline ILI scheme. Supports ILI process scheme engineering by others.
• Prime reviewer for all pipeline engineering documentation relating to this scope.
• Supports the Lead Pipeline Engineer in delivering all Pipeline Focal Point activities for this scope.
• Responsible for the completion and maintenance of all auditable records related to pipeline integrity. Assure the delivery of pipeline information management deliverables including design documents, as-built documents.
• Responsible for defining the safe operating envelope for the pipeline system.
• Responsible for definition of the inspection, testing, and monitoring activities required to support validation of the pipeline. Responsible for pipeline engineering input to operations readiness, including integrity management strategies, inspection and surveillance plans, maintenance and repair documents, start-up and operating procedures.
• Looks for opportunities for improvement and monitors leading indicators to diagnose and solve problems.

• Ensure the Lead Pipeline Engineer is kept fully appraised of key issues, status and outstanding actions.
• Promote safety & environmental responsibility in all aspects of Pipelin
