The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
The Umbilical, Risers and Flowline (URF) team requires a Flowlines and Tie-In Engineer. Reporting to the Senior Flowlines and Tie-In Engineer, this newly created role will be responsible for providing support to the URF Group, for flowlines and tie-ins area, during the execution phase. This will include responsibility for conduct of a correct and complete flowlines and tie-in scope within the URF EPCI Contract and Linepipe (Flowlines) POs.

This is a role based with the engineering contractor in the Netherlands but will likely be required to travel both domestically and overseas.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Represent URF Group on technical flowlines issues at both internal and external meetings.
• Review and comment internal Client project documentation and external consultant / contractor project documentation.
• Monitor all facets of flowlines work to ensure that project schedule, budget and technical requirements have, as a minimum, been met or improved upon.
• Assist in the management of procurement contracts for 18in CRA linepipe.
• Technical authority, where delegated from Senior Flowlines and Tie-in Engineer for all aspects of infield subsea flowline / FLET / tie-in design, manufacture, fabrication.
• Support installation, pre-commissioning and operation activities.
• Lead / participate in Design Review, HAZID / ENVID, Constructability Review workshops etc.
• Resolve infield subsea flowline related interface issues and technical queries.
• Provide technical leadership for all aspects of infield subsea flowline / FLET / tie-in design, manufacture, fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning and operation activities.
• Anticipate, identify and assist to resolution of detailed technical issues for infield subsea flowlines and tie-ins in an efficient and cost effective manner.
• Define, monitor and manage work tasks with external consultants / contractors as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• This role would suit a tertiary qualified engineer with extensive experience in the design, fabrication and installation of subsea flowlines.
• Previous experience working in a client team on EPCI/EPCM contracts with relevant internationally recognized design codes and standards will be highly regarded.
• This successful applicant will need to be highly motivated and be able to demonstrated outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• They will also need to be a team player who has the ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
