The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To promote the continual improvement of FMEA, including their contribution to cross-functional FMEA's. To support Engineering and the Business in the deployment of DFMEA through PFMEA level to ensure they meet TS requirements and standards.

Scope of the Role

1. Responsible for the continual improvements of Engineering FMEA processes and for supporting the continual improvement of cross-functional FMEA processes with significant Engineering content.
2. Responsible for representing Engineering in discussions formulation cross functional processes or wherever another departments activities has implications in FMEA for Engineering.
3. Responsible for developing, creating and gaining cross functional agreement on Engineering FMEA documentation.
4. Responsible for promoting the use of FMEA design tools and techniques and for conducting workshops to ensure that these are correctly applied.
5. Responsible for discharging Engineering obligations in support of the Quality Systems, including Corrective Actions, Process Advisor and auditing roles.
6. Provide help and guidance to Engineers including maintaining Engineers’ awareness of current process requirement and any changes to these.

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in a business, engineering or quality discipline.
- Engineering experience.
- Proven record of working in process development in FMEA.
- Thorough knowledge to ISO TS 16949.
- Ability to influence at all business levels.
