The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To understand and ensure delivery of all engineering processes, especially those subject to TS audit.
To promote the continual improvement of FMEA's, including their contribution to cross functional FMEA's.
To support powertrain/chassis engineering in the depolyment of DFMEA's to ensure they meet TS requirements and standards.

Scope of the Role
- Responsible in chassis for the continual improvement of engineering FMEA processes and for supporting the continual improvement of cross functional FMEA processes with significant engineering content.
- Responsible for representing engineering in discussions formulating cross functional processes or wherever another departments activities has implications in FMEA for engineering.
- Responsible for developing, creating and gaining cross functional agreement on engineering FMEA documentation.
- Responsible for promoting the use of FMEA design tools and techniques and for conducting workshops to ensure that these are correctly applied.
- Responsible for promoting the use of all engineering processes within the chassis department.
- Provide help and guidance to engineers including maintaining engineers awareness of current process requirements and any changes to these.
- To be aware of all auditable engineering processes and ensure that all levels of the organisation are aware of their obligations. Where necessary additional training should be identified and coordinated with the academy team.

Qualifications & Experience

- Automotive/Mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience of deployment/creation of DFMEA's.
