The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
For our client we are looking for a Forensic Specialist with extensive Major Project Claims experience - especially scope change/growth, programme movement, delays and disruption, productivity issues, acceleration, extension of time, global claims. You will be a Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of claims analysis and management, including but not limited to the following:

• Ability to lead presentations and negotiations
• Understanding of all construction trade disciplines
• Ability to work with hybrid contract conditions
• Ability to interrogate electronic Contracts Management System
• A clear understanding of CPN programmes/analysis (Primavera (P6))
• Ability to verify heads of claim, events, cause, effect and direct loss/expense
• Ability to progressively feedback claim matters including lessons learned and Project trend/change
• A clear understanding of knock-on delays culminating from front end deliverables e.g. IFC engineering deliverables, supply chain logistics, free-issue materials etc.
• Participate in front-end evaluation of rebuttals, counterclaims, backcharges and their valuation, negotiation and settlement.
• Experience and knowledge of and/or in representating Client at mediation and/or arbitration.
• Ability to work closely with all Project disciplines e.g. Construction Group, Contracts Group, Project Controls and regularly involve Legal Team.
• Focused on Claim solving and overall objective of delivering the Project on time, within budget and to the requisite quality

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Your requirements include:

20 + Years experience in Claims and Dispute Management directly related to the Oil and Gas Industry
LLM Master’s degree in Construction Law and Arbitration, MRICS, FCIArb
Dispute resolution/ADR/Expert Witness experience beneficial
