The Role:
• Be responsible for the delivery of log analysis, interpretation and data services in the Europe-Caspian
Region. This includes LQC, log processing and petrophysical evaluation of reservoir formations and their
• Collaborate with geoscience teams across product lines to maximize the value of deliverables.
• Engage in training and development and support the mentoring of junior staff.
• Ensure service delivery is consistent with global geoscience requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Liaise with geoscientists in other areas within the Europe-Caspian region and the global group as required.
• Undertake petrophysical and other analyses of log data acquired by logging while drilling (LWD), wireline
(WL), and other conveyance methods.
• The key responsibility of this position is to ensure delivery of customer-qualified interpretation results in a
timely fashion.
• Assist LWD and Wireline departments to facilitate continuous service quality improvement.
• Support operations to ensure their staff are properly trained and proficient in performing and understanding
log data acquisition.
• Assist the management team in ensuring field personnel can provide wellsite log quality control.
• At the completion of a specific task or project submit a written report describing the project, results and

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree (Geoscience, Physics or Engineering preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant experience in LWD and/or WL log processing and interpretation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using log interpretation or related technical software.
Prior experience of acoustic log processing & interpretation would be a distinct advantage.

Significant experience in similar role, preferably involving cased-hole and open-hole log interpretation, is required.
Previous experience as an LWD field engineer would be a distinct advantage.
Skills & personal qualities
Good oral communication and report-writing skills are required. The successful candidate will be a proven Team
Player able to motivate others but also able to be self-sufficient when required.
