The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing Oil Sands mega-projects in Alberta.

The Role:
Lead alarm review meetings, oversee progress, plan and prioritize works.
Classified alarms into various groups, e.g. instrumentation issues, control tuning issues, unreasonable alarm limits, or device/unit run status.
Work with ops and tech disciplines to agree on resolutions
Initiate MOCs and drive the progress
May implement some change by himself/herself

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in related studies.
Hands-on Foxboro I/A experience.
Some Process engineering experience to understand the rational of alarm limits, e.g. pump minimum flow.
Some Process Control experience to help classify alarm issues, e.g. loop tuning and instrument issue.
Comfortable in working/leading in a multidisciplinary environment.

Safety training prerequisites: CSTS, D&A Test.
