The Company:
A Large Operator

The Role:
This position covers Brazil Oil Marketing forecasting, planning, reporting, analysis and technical accounting.
This work cannot be absorbed by current staff.
This position reports directly to Director, Financial Planning & Reporting.
Responsible for all planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis as it relates to Brazil Oil Marketing, including P&B and headcount
Coordinate with Accounting to bridge and clearly communicate monthly results and key performance metrics
Partner with Brazil Oil Marketing team to better align responsibilities with Finance, ensuring transparency of data flows
Understand business, contract, and strategies, communicating issues and related accounting implications across to various stakeholders
Serve as primary contact for all Group Finance related queries and strive to improve Group-wide understanding of businesses
Coordinate all Investment Appraisal financials, liaising with the commercial teams, Investment Appraisal, Finance and others
Provide technical accounting and transaction support on new deals; interacting with both commercial teams and Technical Accounting

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
Strong analytical and Excel modelling skills with ability to understand various planning models/data sources

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification preferred
Strong communication skills with ability to interact with commercial team and executives on a regular basis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and communicate higher-level strategic objectives/challenges.
Ability to challenge status quo, ask relevant questions, and propose logical alternatives.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements to ensure transparency and logical flow of information.
Ability to work and coordinate across time zones to ensure proper commercial team and Group Finance support.
