The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project. To work on a Residential or Single Status. Perfect French fluency mandatory & English (spoken & written)

The Role:
During Commissioning execution, supervises commissioning activities carried out by contractor at Integration Yard and ensures that the work identified in the work permit is performed according to company specification.

At Offshore stage, carries out the Commissioning electrical activities and manage Electrical technicians team. He knows, understands and complies with HSE Project Group plans & rules and ensures safe practices during supervision/execution.
To follow up the preparation of precommissioning / commissioning electrical procedures and the requisition for material, equipment, consumables, and spare parts related to electrical matters and to review the commissioning dossiers and in particular the operational test procedures and the electrical tests sheets

2. To supervise the Witnessing of contractor pre-commissioning activities by his team of technicians, as defined by the Leader. To ensure that the systems have reached the ready for commissioning status with the associated punch list with respect to electrical systems, and that the witnessing is made in a professional way; evaluate the skills of the people performing the pre-commissioning. Ensure that witnessing activities do not delay contractor activities more than necessary.

3. Attend FAT / SAT as required by the Leader.

EXECUTION PHASE

4. To promote / ensure safety within the commissioning activities and verify that safety procedures and permit to work system are implemented by the FPSO EPSCC Contractor Commissioning Team (especially during the offshore phase)

5. To witness the execution of commissioning to achieve maximum productivity, minimize cost and achieve smooth hand over.

6. Supervise/ensure electrical safety lock prerequisites before Tests implementation.

7. To supervise/perform functional tests in line with commissioning procedures
8. To supervise / fill Commissioning Tests Sheets in the Commissioning dossiers
9. To compile and report to the Electrical Leader of any technical change or modification proposal
10. To supervise / report progress to the concerned Commissioning Leader.
11. To supervise / report all punch list items to the concerned Commissioning Leader.
12. To supervise / assist / consolidate Leader for commissioning tools, specific tools, spares, consumables for Electrical equipment.
13. To supervise / assist / clarify Leader in instrumentation domain for Punch List items identification and clearance acceptance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HSE standards to be fully implemented and met during the commissioning phase of the FPSO Topsides.
 Satisfactory completion of commissioning for electrical aspects in terms of quality of work, schedule and budget.
 Satisfactory completion of the ready for start up dossiers.

Professional experience: 10 years of experience in electrical systems commissioning, maintenance and engineering in the oil & gas industry. Good knowledge of OPERCOM/ICAPS and experience on FPSO are a plus. Fluency in English (written and spoken), computer literacy, proven skills for co-ordination and communication / work organization.
