The Company:
One of the worlds leading engineering and project services contractors, servicing the Energy and Mining & Mineral markets in Australia and Worldwide.

The Role:
• Manage the FPSO hull construction, hull-side turret integration and hull pre-commissioning in a lump sum EPCC contract environment.
• Assist in the periodic review of the Hull Construction team organization in conjunction with FPSO Hull manager.
• Prepare and implement the manpower plan for the construction team.
• Be responsible for the supervision and performance of the construction team
• Identify and organize all required construction support (Third Party support, Joint-Venture partner technical support, etc.) in liaison with the FPSO Hull Manager.
• Ensure that team members are adequately competent, trained and briefed to execute assignments.
• Ensure that all construction activities are properly monitored, controlled and reported by his team. Manage the multi-discipline and multinational construction team to supervise the EPCC Contractor for all construction and integration activities, including those at sub-contractor’s facilities.
• Ensure the good coordination and communication to and within the construction team. Promote team working. Co-operate with the other Company teams and with the Area Engineers. Hold regular meeting with the Company construction team to anticipate, to prepare the actions of the team and review the results. Communicate to the construction team Company’s policies and targets.
• Anticipate, prepare and define the actions of the construction team to match the upcoming activities planned by the contractor

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Diploma of Degree Qualified
• High awareness and knowledge of safe working practices.
• Excellent communication / written skills and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Minimum 15 yrs experience in construction, integration, pre-commissioning within the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Experience of FPSO hull construction in Korea at Management or Site Representative level will be highly regarded
