The Role:
Assignment Status : 8 x 2 weeks or Resident, 4 x 4 weeks Offshore
Term : Onshore 2015, Offshore 2016

Accountability :
- ICHTHYS HSE standards to be fully implemented and met during the commissioning phase of
the facility.
- Satisfactory completion of Commissioning of his discipline in terms of quality of work & schedule

Primary Deliverables :
Throughout the Project, the main responsibilities of the Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor
are:
- Promotion of HSE behaviour and ensuring that HSE procedures implementation by
commissioning team (including Permit To Work)
- Knowledge, understanding and application of OPERCOM Pre-commissioning and
commissioning methodology.
- Witness as appropriate the pre-commissioning activities performed by the EPCC.
- Witness of at shore Commissioning activities performed by EPCC to ensure that his discipline
reach the Ready For Start-Up status as per planning.
- Ensure that the Project Specific Requirements are followed correctly (DNV…)
- Witness of the equipment preservation.
- Supervision of execution of the offshore commissioning activities for his Discipline.
- Verification of the ICAPS database for his discipline.
- Sign the ICAPS sheet as appropriate.
- Participate to the tool box meetings.
- Participate to meetings upon request.

Key technical deliverables :

ATSHORE Phase
- Follow up the preparation of Pre-commissioning/Commissioning procedures and reporting
tools (including technical databases, planning, and punch list control) and the requisition
for material, equipment, consumables and spare parts for his Discipline.
- Follow-up of the mechanical isolations.
- Follow-up the isolations method and status.
- Ensure all pre-commissioning and commissioning execution activities are carried out
safely and in accordance with the project HSE plan and Permit To Work.
- Perform his discipline preliminary checks on subsystem to confirm Contractor has
achieved his full pre-commissioning scope of work.
- Review of contractor’s commissioning planning and follow up of progress.
- Witness contractor’s performance of onshore commissioning RFSU on system and subsystem
basis.
- Follow up of contractor’s FAT activities at supplier premises. Verify the FAT report.
- Follow-up and review of contractor’s pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers.
- Ensure Operational Tests performed by Contractor are in accordance with the OTP

OFFSHORE Phase
Responsible of Offshore commissioning activities for his discipline including
- Assistance and contractor follow up during off-shore installation, hook-up and pre-commissioning
- Provide Supervision of the offshore commissioning for his discipline.
- Possibly responsible of mechanical isolations.
- Assistance to operations and start-up.
- Identification and mobilization of materials, vendors, 3rd party required for offshore
commissioning activities
- Responsible for the mark-ups drawing (“As commissioned documents”) for his discipline.
- Hands on commissioning on the preparation and execution of Operational Tests.
- Responsible for PL follow-up of his discipline.
- Progress reporting and planning for all activities related to the above duties. (progress,
man-hours, punch lists …) to the Mechanical Superintendent.
- Work permit issuance, verification, validation for his discipline.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications : Appropriate Mechanical engineering qualification, Fluency in English.

Key experiences required :
- Minimum 10 years of commissioning experience in his discipline on large Oil and Gas facilities.
- Previous experience working in Korea / Australia on FPSO projects.
