The Role:
CONSTRUCTIONS ACTIVITIES:
• Participate in the application of the Contractor’s Preservation procedures and databases.
• Monitor the preparation of the preservation activities (register, availability of consumable or product, cross check with vendor preservation procedures, review of MSDS, sufficient number of Contractor’s personnel…).
• Check the Contractor’s two weeks look ahead, and expedite and report on any delays in the ongoing preservation activities.
• Be fully involved in all of the Contractor’s preservation inspections and re-instatements.
• Review and endorse the Contractor’s preservation check sheets and labelling.
• Attend all meeting relating to the preservation activities.
• Keep a record of the location of all equipment and materials subject to preservation activities.
The Company’s preservation inspector in liaison with the Material inspector shall ensure that all preservation is as per the dedicated Project preservation Surveillance procedure:
• Confirm that the Contractors preservation plan is adequately staffed for the purpose and follows up on any fluctuation.
• Cross check the preservation activities with vendors’ preservation requirements.
• Make sure that the Contractor addresses without delay any preservation issues identified at the inspection prior to any un-loading and any delay or issues identified in the course of the preservation maintenance activities.
• Witness all field preservation inspections and re-instatements in all disciplines as per the provided Contractor schedule and confirm that the labelling and dates are correct.
• Attend with the preservation Supervisor as required, the weekly preservation meeting held with the Contractor.
• Assure the application and preparation of preservation activities to be carried out during the tow until the start –up of the FPSO.
• Carry out any other preservation works as required by the Preservation Supervisor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Well experienced with major Oil and Gas Project (minimum 5 years), good background with Total technical and quality requirements preferable.
Good mechanical and electrical background, previous experience with preservation activities should be highly appreciated.
Good background in QC, pre-commissioning and maintenance.
Fluent in English language
Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
