The Role:
Purpose

•The Site Quality Coordinator will initially be based in Houston supporting the FEED phase of the project and ultimately relocate to remote site(s) shortly after Contract Award.
•The Site Quality Coordinator will then support Company efforts during detail design, procurement, construction, hook up and commissioning as part of the FPSO Site Management Team.
•The position may require significant travel including offshore Angola during the installation and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

•Provide the primary day to day Quality Management of the FPSO Contract.
•Work closely with the Project Team, Contractor QA Representative and Houston based Quality Management Team.
•Initially support the FPSO Team during the FEED phase, reviewing and commenting to FEED deliverables to align with Corporate and

Houston Quality requirements

•Post Contract award, station at sites are required/requested by FPSO Manager.
•Report directly to the Quality Manager and manage third party QA and QC staff representing Maersk on the FPSO Work.
•Report quality related matters on a timely manner.
•Proactively identify issues and provide solutions for management consideration.
•Liaise with Company and Contractor Verification Agencies.
•Review Contractor, Subcontractor and Vendor Inspection and Test Plans and include Company participation as appropriate for the criticality of the equipment including:
•Ensuring compliance to the acceptance criteria stipulated in ITPs.
•Ensure participation by Contractor QA and VA as well as Company VA and staff as stipulated in the ITPs.
•Review procurement documentation for compliance with Specifications and Approved Vendors List.
•Tracking NCRs and waivers including documenting completion of any associated Corrective Actions.
Decision Making Authority and Accountability
•Selection and placement of third party Quality personnel as required based on criticality of FPSO work.
•Accountable for FPSO Quality to be in compliance with Project Specifications.
•Ensure direct reports comply with published HSSE procedures and Quality Guidelines.
•Monitor and audit Contractor Group for adherence to their respective Quality Management Systems.
•Monitor Contractor Classification Society reviews and inspections/participation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Technical or Engineering Degree.
•Minimum 15 Years experience in conversion or new build FPSOs.
•Minimum 10 Years experience as Quality Manager in Deepwater projects.
•Minimum 5 Years experience as representative of Operator as Quality Manager in Deepwater projects.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office© products.
•Ability to manage personnel and time.
•Ability to monitor and manage Quality related costs.
•Possess strong analytical skills.
•Strong understanding of international codes and standards as apply to oil and gas facilities.
•Strong understanding of FPSO Classification Rules.
•Experience of, at a minimum, Audit participation of contractor activities in a major oil and gas environment
