The Role:
- Follow-up of detailed engineering development and procurement activities progress related to electrical items and activities by the EPC contractor, the LLI vendors and packages vendors
related to FPSO Topsides scope. This includes the review and comment of engineering and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, corporate standard and HSE regulation, BV and SOLAS applicable rules.
Supervision, control, review and co-ordination of Detailed Engineering and Fabrication works in compliance with Project specifications and Procedures, Company General Specifications, discipline requirements and international codes, with respect of cost, schedule and required
level of quality and safety applicable to this project.
- Manage/attend regular follow-up meetings with contractors and main package vendors.
- Assist in vendor selection.
- Report discipline progress status to FPSO Lead Electrical Engineer.
- Provide technical answers to technical queries related to electrical issues.
- Provide technical answers and clarifications to internal project audit sessions (PTR, HAZOP, etc…)
- Manage assistance from HQ Company electrical specialist (DEV/TEC) (derogation requests …).
- Ensure that relevant feedback/REX from previous FPSOs are considered in the design performance.
- Ensure that design is standardized across the EGINA FPSO and in line with AKPO and USAN FPSO.
- Detailed selection of two years and insurance spares for electrical package / equipment.
- Attend and approve electrical package / equipment inspection and factory acceptance tests.
- Assist to resolve technical clarifications raised during construction and commissioning phases.
- Following up of field engineering modifications as relevant.
- Provide specialist assistance for Field Operation (FOPS) team during the commissioning and start up activities.
- Promote and ensure an effective implementation of SSHE rules and procedures under his field of responsibility.

- Detailed engineering of Topsides to take place in Lagos.
- Detailed engineering of Hull to take place in Korea.
- Construction activities partly in Nigeria and partly in Korea
- Part of FPSO integration to occur in Lagos

- Good engineering dossier for electrical discipline across FPSO Topsides.
- Good communication with design team in Lagos and especially FPSO Lead Electrical Engineer in charge of overall Electrical design consistency.
- Good and efficient engineering documentation review, comment and follow-up.
- Good leadership with engineering contractors, LLIs suppliers and packages vendors.
- Follow-up of internal technical reviews (PTR 3, 4, and others)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Master degree in electrical system engineering
Experience: 5 - 10 years experience in electrical field in Oil and Gas activities.
Experience in FPSO (or offshore facilities) is a plus
Available for technical missions worldwide.
Familiar with Total GS.
Language: Fluent English.
Computer literate
Strong leadership skills and good communication skills
Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
Good analytical skills
