Missions


- Ensure respect and correct application of the project HSE procedures, standards and specifications during FPU Hull construction and commissioning phase, in particular with regards to Scaffolding works.
- Provide support to Project's discipline supervisors in HSE related activities. Ensure they understood and apply Project procedures regarding scaffolding and working at heights. Support them in the performance of their HSE roles and duties.
- Provide support to FPU HSE leader and report to him your daily activities and areas of concerns.
- Be proactive in the specific tasks you will be assign to by the FPU HSE Leader (i.e.: Provide HSE training and induction to personnel / IMPACTS champion for safety culture program / update register of 2Scards for anomaly reporting / update Synergy data base / up date safety board on site / follow and control waste management/ environmental impact monitoring/ interface and support to other packages / etc)
- The FPU Hull HSE Scaffolding Inspector reports to the FPU Hull HSE Leader.



Activities
- Provides technical knowledge and expertise and supervision for erecting, dismantling and scaffolding construction.
- To ensure the scaffolding procedure, specification standards are included and follow, in working scaffolding erecting, construction and dismantling.
- Provide an inspection program for all scaffold structures to ensure that minimum safety requirement are met.
- Be present, visible and available on the worksite.
- Participate and be proactive into daily TBM with Contractor and Hull Subcontractors.
- Perform regular Audits and Inspections on HSE activities as defined by HSE leader program.
- Intervene and report all unsafe acts and conditions.
- Be proactive in the proposal of mitigations and solutions to perform the work safely.
- Ensure correct implementation of the preventive and corrective actions identified.
- Inform and report to FPU HSE leader as often as necessary but never leave a hazardous situation unsolved STOP work policy.
- Participate to HSE meetings and walkthrough on the worksite.
- Liaise with other disciplines and provide support in the application of the HSE management system.
- Participate to JSA meetings with contractor and hull sub-con for major tasks of the project at yard..
- Perform HSE trainings and awareness to project personnel
- Enforce the messages during specific HSE Campaigns.
- Liaise with the project assistant for the management of PPE in terms of stock and distribution.
- Provide support to Contractor and Hull Sub-cons HSE Team during Emergency Situations.

Observations


- Location : HSHI Shipyard - Mokpo and visits to Suppliers locations in Asia.


- Starting date : ASAP


- Duration : 10 months renewable



- 10 years experience in construction site HSE Supervision. Previous experience in a large Korean taskforce environment
- Thorough understanding of HSE management systems and risk management processes.
- Good knowledge of Korean and international HSE legislation, codes of practice, etc.
- Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spread sheets and e-mail communications
