The Role:
This position is for those who can speak Korean Language fluently in order to supervise Local Sub-con workers and HHI employees.

Activities
Reporting Activities
To monitor and report daily physical progress, POB, and HSE information
To timely report any issue to the supervisor in charge
To issue a daily and weekly report as per the Projects template
To prepare a REX dossier in his discipline / SoW

Prefabrication, Construction and Pre-commissioning activities:
To visit the worksites and workshops, and to liaise with Contractor or vendor/ Subcontractor's personnel
To provide guidance within his discipline
To check the physical progress of the work performed by the contractor or his subcontractors/ Vendor
To raise Corrective Action Request (CAR) upon request and related ICAPS Punch list
To ensure that WPS are posted on work sites and parameters are in line within the WPS range. To ensure that all equipment are well calibrated. To Check that only agreed consumables, tools and test equipment are used, properly preserved, maintained and provided with valid certificates
To check that traceability of material is implemented and stamped by using PMI and compare it to the material certificates.
To assist supervisor for all notified inspections related to subcontractors inside or outside of HHI yard
To ensure that the quality of fabrication and erection works complies with Contract requirements and General Specifications
To ensure that the quality record books are properly maintained and documented by the Contractor
To assess any request from contractor to deviated from quality procedures or requirements. Make appropriate recommendation to the project's personnel
To ensure that the ICAPS checksheets are properly and timely notified and completed with relevant punch list
To participate to meetings with Contractor, sub-contractors or vendors as required.
To liaise with other construction inspectors and supervisors, QC inspectors, welding specialists, as required

HSE roles and responsibilities
To support and enforce HSE objectives and directives. Support and implement the HSE procedures and plans and the Project safety culture Program( IMPACTS )
To monitor the implementation of such procedures and program. To report any good initiative and anomaly.
To participate to safety walk through
To comply with HSE training requirement for his position

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Fluent English (spoken & written) good relationship with other cultures.
Good knowledge of piping and structure construction and commissioning
Knowledge in welding / NDT would be highly appreciated
Ability to understand design / Shop drawings. Reliable anticipation and reporting of issues
Technical background in his discipline > 10 years, with > 5 years in oil and gas projects
Must possess a valid driving license
