The Role:
Reporting activities:
- To monitor and report daily physical progress, POB, and HSE information
- To timely report any issue to the supervisor in charge of Rotating equipment and Packages, to issue a daily and weekly report as per the Projects template
To prepare a REX dossier in his discipline / SoW

Construction and Pre-commissioning activities
- To check the physical progress of the work performed by the contractor or his subcontractors / vendor
- To assist Company's Construction Mechanical Leader in supervising preparation and execution of Mechanical construction activities for FPU topsides rotating equipment and packages, including notified inspections.
- To assess contractor's sub-contractor's and Vendor's field site representatives actual level of manpower.
- To ensure that the contractor's activities are carried out in accordance with Company's standards, HSE policies (impacts), project specifications ad site instructions.
- To report technical / preservation issues noticed during equipment or skids storage, installation or Mechanical Completion.
- To verify agreed technical solutions are implemented in the field. To assess any request from contractor to deviate from quality procedures or requirements. To make appropriate recommendation to his hierarchy
- To monitor Contractor's execution of carry-over works and remediation of punch points from Factory Acceptance Tests, Hull Contractor (HSHI) and SOE (Qidong) deliverables, receiving inspections...
- To review Korean Contractor 'as built' Red line mark-ups.
- To raise Corrective Action Request (CAR) upon request and related ICAPS Punch List.
- To represent Company during Mechanical Completion/ Pre-commissioning final inspections (Witness) and systems/ sub-systems joint walk downs with the Commissioning group.
- To ensure that the ICAPS check sheets are properly and timely notified and completed with relevant punch list. To check that Contractor's progress is adequately reported in ICAPS
- To liaise with other construction inspectors and supervisors, QC inspectors, welding specialists, as required

HSE roles and responsibilities
- To support and enforce Projects HSE objectives and directives. Support and implement the HSE procedures and plans and the Project safety culture program (IMPACTS). To comply with HSE training requirement for his position
- To monitor the implementation of such procedures and program. To report any good initiative and anomaly. To provide feedback on safety conditions and participate to their improvement. To participate to safety walkthrough

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Fluent English Good relationship with other cultures, good communication skills
Education : B.Tech. or equivalent experience in a senior role
Ability to understand design / shop drawings. Reliable anticipation and reporting of issues
Technical background in his discipline/ skid lifting & handling and preservation
Familiar with gas turbine driven generator sets, pumps, gas compressors (centrifugal and screw), lifting appliances (pedestal cranes, jib cranes, hoists,...) fans & blowers, air compressors & dryers packages, water utility packages, flare gas recovery & installation, shaft alignment, soft foot check, lifting appliances load testing,...
Must possess a valid driving license
