The Role:
As a Functional Activity Planner your main duties will involve:

•Demonstrated eagerness to learn and develop, particularly in how the businesses function and how to translate that into the integrated project/portfolio plans.
•Strong, assertive and effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to build key relationships with wide variety of stakeholders. Though commonly stated in job descriptions, in this role it is a “must have”.
•Coordinate with people and interpret data to deliver quality integrated schedule from vast range of inputs and interfaces.
•Practical understanding of Critical Path logic scheduling/planning on projects and portfolios of projects.
•Primavera (P6) capabilities. 3-10 years project planning experience.
•Familiarity with onshore gas exploration, development and facilities (including wells/drilling) projects is highly beneficial.

The Functional Activity Planner's principal tasks:

•Integrated coordination of geosciences, wells, completions, regulatory, lease & road construction, surface facilities (all project phases) and pipeline activities for tight gas/liquids and InSitu Oil development.
oThis will involve proactively seeking and gathering appropriate information from various groups and stakeholders to build in-depth understanding to develop robust integrated schedules.
oBuilding strong working relationships with all departments and stakeholders is critical.
•Learning details of onshore gas exploration business operates.
•Interface frequently in meetings and on individual basis to gather data and develop robust plans. Coordination and leading of meetings as well as interfaces with individuals for
•Clearly and effectively communicate integrated schedule and impacts of potential changes.
•Build, develop and maintain large integrated schedule(s) in Primavera P6. Update regularly and as needed – typically, weekly.
•Develop “what if” schedule scenarios and effectively communicate impacts and consequences to all stakeholders.
