The Company:
My Client is a major Oil and Gas Operator.

The Role:
-Liaise with Functional Team Leaders (FTL) and build Business Plan Element (BPE) milestones and activities into functional schedules.

-Break down BPEs into discrete Level 1, 2 and 3 activities.

-Implement the Functional Planning Process consistent with the Activity Planning Reference Manual.

-Identify 8Q Schedule activities and ensure Gate/PCP readiness of all 8Q activities and work with FTLs to ensure they take ownership of the schedule, and understand the schedule, scope and their obligations.

-Manage Functional Senior Planners and Functional Schedulers in creation and development of detailed Functional plans over 12 week, 6 week and 2 week timeframes.

-Communicate the Functional Schedules to all required Function team members.

-Support the Functional 8Q and 12 week Planning meetings.

-Interface with other Functional Lead Planners to ensure synergy between functional Plans and support Area Scheduler Teams in development of the Area Schedules at all Levels.

-Identify activities that risk delivery of the functional Plan and that may impact activities of other Functions.

-Support the correct and timely progressing of functional activities within the Integrated schedule and the subsequent impact analysis.

-Communicate schedule analysis outcomes with FTLs to determine corrective action where necessary.

-Maintain agreed KPIs with the FTLs and agree and communicate improvement actions where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-A strong understanding of standard Planning and Scheduling techniques and practices.

-Previous experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry.

-Minimum 10 years Planning experience.

-Confident user of Planning software, Primavera P6.

-Familiarity with industry processes and equipment.

-Experience of Operations and maintenance environments.

-Ability to work with cross-functional teams and the ability to develop working relationships.

-An understanding of being a ‘Team Player’.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
