The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Perceived Quality department within Body Engineering is responsible for defining the customer requirements, for emotional and sensory interaction and emotional connection for products. This is defined by sub-attributes of 'Crafted' 'Design', 'Ambient lighting' and 'Material Ingredients'. The Body Engineering Department is responsible for the Engineering of the Body, including Lamps. Mirrors Bumpers, and Trim, as well as the Interior Cockpit (Instrument panel and Console), and Cabin (Headliner, trunk, pillar trims). Key Responsibilities include: - Create and maintain the Gap Plan documentation from in RD&T software (training available if required). - Understanding of 2D drafting and the creation of sections using both digibuck and RD&T - Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of assembly session files in digibuck to support the development of the Gap Plan and for the use of the wider PQ team. - Assist the PAT leaders in the creation of the gap plan layouts. - The role demands a consistent attention to detail which could be considered monotonous by some, however candidates will be involved on various programmes developing the individual Gap Plans from target setting phase to Production level to support delivery of the Quality Standards Manual.

3 KEY SKILLS Digibuck (Vismockup) Microsoft Tools RD&T (Training can be provided)

Experience Required: - Ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, forward looking, lateral thinker with proven creative, experience, and an ability to maintain an attention to detail for long periods of time. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high pressure environment, being self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision. - History of working or leading projects will be a distinct advantage. - Ability to adapt to new tools and the use of CATIA (v5/v6) as role progresses as the Gap Plan development process changes. - Experience of programme or project management, meeting demanding timescales essential. - Applicants need to be Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project. - The role may require inter-site travel therefore, it is expected that candidates will hold a valid UK Drivers licence.-
