The Company:
Our client is an International Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company with operations in 16 countries, they have achieved spectacular growth in the past ten years, growth which they expect to continue.

There Southern North Sea (North) facility comprises both on and offshore natural gas production and processing facilities. They include 18 offshore producing gas platforms off the east coast of Yorkshire.

The Role:
Description of role:

Based at the Clients Hessle office, working to a 24 hour shift based rota, the successful applicant will coordinate gas production from each of the fields operated by them and will;

• Form a daily interface between management, operations, commercial and project groups
• Routinely liaise with partners, official and government bodies
• Perform a challenging key role in the company’s business
• Make critical on the spot business decisions
• Optimise production from our Southern North Sea portfolio to match market forces and our partner’s requirements
• Opportunity to measurably improve Perenco’s performance in the Southern North Sea

The position forms part of the larger Hydrocarbon Accounting Group and is involved in the integration and development of new business projects, alongside the continually evolving core operational role.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• The suitable candidate will be a good communicator, able to manage multiple concurrent tasks, and ideally be qualified in a relevant degree (Mathematics, Engineering, Business Studies, etc) although suitable experience may also be acceptable.
• Demonstrate a conscientious and rigorous approach to strict routine, commercially critical activities, exhibit excellent relationship building skills with all the personnel/parties we interface with.
• Knowledge of gas processing, transmission systems and delivery is a distinct advantage although full training on Gas-Coordination will be provided.
• The position acts as the day-to-day single point of contact for the asset, therefore excellent communication skills are crucial as you will liaise with 3rd party owners, buyers, operations and commercial teams.

• The successful candidate will exhibit a high standard of computer literacy and a keen aptitude to problem solving and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
