The Gas Processing Plant Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and delivery of activities related to the development of the upstream gas processing plant located in the shale play.The GPPM will support the PRU Engineering Manager in managing the interface with the JV partner who will build, own and operate the gas processing plant and ensure compliance with national, international and company standards and guidelines such that the engineering designs/deliverables satisfy companies' a
The Role:
The GPPM is the principal interface with the JV partner executing the processing facility design work and supports the engineering manager regarding interfacing with the upstream and impacted parties (i.e. downstream engineering etc.). The GPPM will work extensively with the JV team to guide them as the client representative.The GPPM is also the key technical interface with the upstream development team from a feed gas interface perspective.
The GPP Project Engineer is accountable for the delivery of the engineering and project execution through the JV team on the companies' behalf and managing the cost and schedule across all intended engineering phases of upstream definition (i.e. Assess, Select, Define). Responsibilities will include;
•Manage and coordinate JV team to ensure execution in accordance with project directives.
•Manage and continuously improve the Engineering Contractor performance on design work to assure it meets the Company’s technical, financial, safety and environmental objectives.
•Assist in ensuring full compliance with companies', International and National codes and standards.
•Provide quality assurance of project related deliverables.
•Prepare engineering material for functional reviews
•Manage the technical interface with the upstream JV partner and downstream LNG plant engineering.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Delivery of at least one onshore related design project to FEED as a project engineer.
•Specialist knowledge in one main discipline of Mechanical, E&I or Process engineering.
•Broad knowledge of mechanical, E&I and process systems as well as some knowledge of C&P processes.
•Experience of managing technical scopes of work and engineering studies with third party engineering contractors to schedule and budget.
•Knowledge of engineering contract processes and sequences.
•Good understanding of companies Standards and Guidelines to guide Contractors technically during the project.
•Professional engineer with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
•Should be a full member of a professional body such as Institute of Mechanical Engineers and show evidence of ongoing professional development. Preferably a company engineer pursuing the engineering development ladder.
