The Company:
Our client is the worlds leading independent company in powertrain development. Based in the UK, our client has proven success in the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines. Our client is a highly competent partner to the engine and automotive industry.

The Role:
The calibration department is a diverse team of experienced and motivated engineers that work to develop world class products. We are now looking for additional experienced gasoline engine development engineers.
In this role you will be responsible for Gasoline base engine hardware development and sign off to meet defined vehicle boundary conditions.
The role involves planning, preparation and supervision of engine dyno, assessment and documentation of test results.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience within Automotive Industry
Gasoline engine development experience
Plan and lead Engine Performance & Economy (P&E) development.
Plan and lead dynamometer Engine development & validation testing.
Management of daily dynamometer activities (both hardware & calibration.
Liaison with engine design, vehicle development and manufacturing teams.
Liaison with hardware suppliers/manufacturing/calibration teams as needed.
Manage the project to ensure all milestones and objectives are achieved.
Experience of data analysis tools such as AVL Concerto.
Good inter-personnel and communication skills.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
