The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Specialist Integration Application Engineer in dimensional control for Body Engineering, Safety Components for future model programme
Key tasks: Facilitate the GD&T audits for Safety & Cabin components. Support GD&T applications in the department Document best practice tolerancing within the department and supplier base Support the gauge design of components and inspection methods with suppliers Manage the departments training for dimensional control Support the department design guidelines ensuring design is capable of meeting tolerance requirements and agreeing locator and fixing strategy

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Proven experience of GD&T application and component and system level. Successful history of project delivery on automotive climate control systems
Ideally degree educated

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
A working knowledge of CATIA V5 would be useful but not essential,
Ideally within the automotive sector or adjacent industries, eg rail, aerospace, defence, energy etc
