The Role:

We are inviting expressions of interest for a key General Management role with one of the world's leading Mining / Minerals exploration companies to be based from their Perth, Western Australia location.

This fantastic opportunity will allow someone to work with one of the most experienced and most influential Exploration specialists in the world meaning the successful person would learn from the best. It is also an excellent opportunity to work for one of the most successful mineral explorers in the world.

We are seeking someone with a strong background / experience in the Mining industry preferably with a Geology background

The role will encompass a multitude of responsibilities consisting of the following:

Spearhead the global exploration reporting for globally based projects. Reporting project updates, issues, recommendations and improvements to the Head of Exploration
Recommend major exploration improvement plans to the Exploration team, Head of Exploration and stakeholders by applying correct change management processes to achieve successful outcomes.
Collaborate with Senior Executives to review and shape the exploration strategy and align the company's global exploration strategy across the global business units
Compile the quarterly and annual Exploration Business Reports and distribute this key communication tool to both internal and external people
Identify workforce capability and workforce requirements to ensure commodity projects are fully resourced and report back to the Head of Exploration
Explore new business opportunities across various commodities and follow these up with the Exploration team.
