The Role:
1 Developing the yearly department obligation (QEHS) with the approval by Senior Director and Managing Director, following up the progress and reporting to both directors at every half year.
2 Notification top management policies and obligation to all members.
3 Developing the man hour allocation and recruiting for all function group based on the expected project work load & schedule.
4 Appraisal of all staffs Performance at four cases such as annual, variable bonus, promotion and confirmation.
5 Following up the SOPs and Developing the required SOP for the further work.
6 Preparing the training needs and programs for the budget arrangement at the beginning of the year and executing the training to achieve the each staff capability target.
7 All duties required by the senior director and the managing director.
8 Attending the management meeting and notification to all staffs under this department.

Project Department's responsibility
9 Managing all function group activities.
10 All activities related to project including cost, quality, schedule (delivery), construction, trouble shooting and so on
11 Approval the budget cost for all projects proposed by Cost Control Group.
12 Managing the progress of the project cost for all projects and executing a solution immediately when the cost over run is expected.
13 Managing the schedule progress including Construction of all projects and taking a solution immediately when some problem and/or delay is found out.
14 Managing the budget control of each function group during the project execution.
15 Coordination, negotiation and decision between this department and other department.
16 Coordination, negotiation and decision between MIES and Clients or Sub-Contractor and so on.
17 Coordination, negotiation and decision between MIES and MHI-Y.
18 Approval of all drawing prepared by all function groups under the project department.
19 Assignment of Project Manager, Engineering Manager and Site Manager after obtaining the approval by Senior Director and Managing Director.
20 Monitoring and Managing the performance of Project Manager, Engineering Manager and Site Manager. If the performance is not met with the projectstatus, Department manager shall take a proper action.
21 Cooperating with Business Department and/or other Business unit to achieve new project.
22 Presentation MIES project management to other party such as Client, Sub-Contractor and so on.
23 Final Acceptance to Procurement Group about Payment to vendor and sub-contractor.
24 Managing and supporting to all function group managers and members.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred or equivalent combination of education or experience.
Minimum 20 years of experience for EPC, Engineering Company that deals with the design, feasibility studies, bidding, engineering, construction & procurement activities of large chemical, environmental and similar type of plants.
Ability to work well as an integral part of a large Project Team that includes all Engineering disciplines.
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks / projects.
