The Company:
A well established contractor with more than 30 years experience in the local earthwork and infrastructure construction industry.

The Role:
-Manage a comprehensive contract administration procedure for use on project to ensure the timely and effective administration of all contracts;
-Ensure operational work processes and documentations are in compliance with the Company’s QMS.
-To study and advice on tender and contract documents.
-Maintain and prepare contract summaries, contract change order, including reporting and status update. Follow up with relevant parties to ensure closure of all issue in a timely manner.
-Ensure internal procedures are complied with including tendering, evaluation and administration of all contracts.
-To verify subcontractor progress claims, prepare progress claims and track payments;
-Ensure timely award of subcontracts.
-Manage estimating function and tendering teams.
-Prepare documentation and presentation material for prequalification, tenders and projects.
-Lead, manage and develop the tender teams
-Ensure detailed tender submissions are compiled and presented for Top Management Review before submission.
-Ensure focus on competitive pricing of all aspects of every tender including supplier and subcontractor pricing and technical compliance.
-Represent the company to attend site inspection and tender clarification, negotiation with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
-Ensure handling over successful tenders to the Project Implementation Department.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil engineering.
-At least 15 years of working experience in similar capacity is required, preferably from the infrastructure, construction and consultancy industry;
-Must be proficient with the local authority and industries compliance;
-Able to work independently in a fast-packed working environment;
-Good time management skills, systematic, detail-oriented and resourceful;
-Familiar with JKR 203, PAM 2007, IEM, FIDIC, Petronas
-Knowledge in ISO 9001 compliance is preferred;
-Good proficiency in written and spoken English and good interpersonal skills is a must;
--Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project is a must;
-Possess excellent skills in negotiations and knowledge of related fields of materials;
-Able to liaise efficiently and effectively with consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers;
-Strong knowledge of pre and post contract works, cost control, budget and contract
