Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

Position Description:
PA to Purchasing Director The Opportunity: The Non Production Purchasing team based in Central Purchasing is responsible for procuring all categories of indirect spend. This role is within the Marketing, Sales and Service Purchasing team within the Non Production Purchasing Department. The Marketing, Sales and Service Purchasing team is responsible for procuring all sales, marketing and PR services globally for . They have responsibility for a spend of approx. £600m. This role is a key position in the team responsible for providing PA support to the Purchasing Director for NPP and the Senior Purchasing Manager for Global Marketing, Sales and Service & NSC¿s. It will also involve team administration for the Global Marketing, Sales and Service purchasing team based in Whitley and engagement with the Purchasing Managers within the NSC¿s. Personal Profile Essential: -Enthusiasm for the role -Experienced in PA/Team assistant duties and requirements -Flexibility to move from task to task as demands require -Well organised -Work well within a team environment Desirable: -Familiar with all IT / Printer / Scanning and reprographic requirements within -Familiar with the structure of Purchasing and wider organisation -Familiar with Purchasing on boarding, security and site access requirements

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
1)Experienced in PA/Team assistant duties and requirements 2
)High Standard of PC literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3)The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation as well as with external contacts

Skills Preferred:

-High Standard of PC literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Experience of client systems is desirable :- SAP ¿ Shopping Carts, Vendor Management, Purchase Order Creation -ITE Soft ¿ Supplier Invoice visibility, Cheque requisitioning -Web Quote ¿ Ability to view historic purchase orders -General Intranet - Time on Line, Travel & Expenses, etc -Previous administration / secretarial experience / diary management is desirable. -Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail and deadlines. -The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation as well as with external contacts. -Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team. -A current driving licence is desirable. -Respect for confidentiality is essential. -Self-motivated and adaptable to changing demands.

Experience Required:
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities -Diary management for Director and SPM including scheduling of meetings in line with departmental calendar. -General Administration duties for NPP Director and the Global Marketing, Sales and Service team. -Preparation of materials for management team and assisting buyers with preparation for their negotiations with suppliers. -Coordination of meetings with internal and external visitors. -Weekly/monthly maintenance and submission of travel & overtime requirements -Travel planning support (booking flights/hotels, arrangement of Visa¿s) for Global Marketing, Sales and Service purchasing team. -Administration of expenses for PM¿s, SPM and Director. -Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports (candidate needs to be competent with MS Office data management methods and training will be given on the specific departmental systems) -General Office duties including stationary and paper supply ordering/recycling. -Raising and issuing e-trackers for general use. e.g. skips, confidential waste -Involvement with induction of new starters and associated administration. -SAP purchase ordering as required / Supplier code management and generation -Department performance progress tracker / visual management monitoring and updating. -Time on line, holiday and absence record control. -Daily interface with buyers to ensure reporting needs & documentation is up to date, accurate and on time -Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time Key Interactions -Director, Non Production Purchasing -Senior Purchasing Managers within NPP -PM¿s and Purchasing Teams -Other Team Assistants -Other PA¿s / Team assistants from relevant functions and stakeholders groups -Senior Supplier Visitors
