The Company:
Our Client one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe. They are looking for a pragmatic, multi tasking individual, to support onshore development activities, specifically working on their East African operations.

The Role:
Main duties:
• Advanced 3D static modelling skills including integration of petrophysics, rock physics, quantitative seismic interpretation, depositional models and reservoir engineering information for
dynamic reservoir simulation and volumetric assessments
• Provide high quality geological evaluations, reservoir and well correlations to the Development Team
• Quantify geological uncertainties feeding into either additional data acquisition plans or ability to capture these in uncertainty analysis
• Delivery of fit for purpose geological input into field development plans
• Support development planning work – identifying requirements and deliverables
• Define data acquisition programmes, including wireline, LWD, coring and fluid sampling in collaboration with other members of the team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• MSc. level or higher is preferred
• Knowledge of a range of structural regimes and depositional environments
• Broad petroleum geology experience, including oil field development planning
• Experience of international environments
• Skilled user of typical geosciences software, including Petrel
• Familiarity with geoscience principals and practice
