The Company:
Our client is an international operator

The Role:
• Contribute to maximizing the value of companies E&P’s UKCS exploration activities
• Contribute to delivering on licence commitments
• Geophysical analysis and assessment of exploration and appraisal projects
• Represent company in Joint Ventures as TCM representative
• Contribute to BD and Licensing Round work
• Prospect generation and maturation, risk analysis, volume assessment
• 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and mapping, including seismic stratigraphy
• Time to depth conversion, quantitative interpretation and attribute analysis
• Geophysical well planning and monitoring – Provide geophysical support to ops and well engineering groups for E&A well delivery
• Liaison with cross border teams and disciplines
• Co-ordination of consultant work and studies for designated licenses
• Participate and contribute to companies internal technical assurance procedures
• Represent companies E&P in Joint Ventures, both operated and non-operated

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• MSc in Geology or Geophysics
• At least 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas sector
• Proven competence and track record in exploration and appraisal
• UKCS experience preferred
• Operator experience desirable, but not essential
• Good communication skills, written and verbal for effective liaison between various stakeholders
• Ability to integrate well with other disciplines
• Mentoring of junior technical colleagues
• HSEQ Awareness
• Central North sea experience required
