The successful applicants will provide technical support for ongoing field development within the project specifically, the job will include supporting and maintaining geoscience databases, assisting with plans of development. These positions will report to the Development Supervisors for the Project Team and will be located in Houston.

•Build and maintain master databases for active Geographix projects. Synchronize with appropriate OpenWorks projects. Update production data for client and OBO wells in Geographix projects.
•Load log data into appropriate Geographix projects. QC log data from outside vendors. Perform small digitizing and scanning jobs.
•Initiate and maintain consistent well files for all new drill wells.
•Generate maps and cross-sections from internal and external sources at the direction of geoscientists.
•Gather and analyze data from internal and external databases to support geoscience efforts.
•Assist with the generation and compilation of team presentation materials.

•Degree: None required, Bachelors preferred
Major Discipline: Geology
Years Experience Required: Minimum 5 years total industry experience supporting multi-disciplinary teams in a technical capacity.
Travel Required: Less than 5%
Computer Proficiencies: Intermediate PC skills are required in Microsoft desktop suites. Experience with Geographix, GIS, Landmark, and onshore data bank software suites are required.
