The Company:
An Oil and Gas exploration and production in Indonesia which has been in FEED stage is looking out the position Geotechnical Coordinator. The company planned to build the mega project for FLNG in Indonesia it would be the first FLNG in Indonesia.

The Role:
• Responsible for managing the Survey Contractor to ensure that the survey work is performed in accordance with the Scope of Work, meets the quality standards, and is within the budget and schedule.
• Sets and maintains high personal standards for HSE, QA and ethical behaviors as an example to the Survey Party.
• Responsible for development of Scope of Work for swathe bathymetry, geophysical, geohazard and AUV surveys.
• Assist the Project Services department in the technical work associated with tendering and selection of the Survey Contractor.
• Review and approval of Survey Contractors procedures prior to commencement of survey.
• Inspection of Survey Contractor's survey equipment and calibration, plus managing mobilisation of the Survey Vessels.
• Managing Contractor and Company's Client Representatives during performance of the survey operation.
• Maintaining highest standard of safety, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and observance of safe working practice at all times, on the survey vessel.
• Support the Pipeline Engineer on board the survey vessel in interpretation of geophysical data and the selection of pipeline route options.
• Perform presentations to Executive Committee, stakeholders.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree from reputable university in Surveying Sciences, Hydrography or other relevant study.
• 15+ years experiences as a Surveyor that would include experience in offshore swathe bathymetry survey, geophysical, and geo hazard surveys in the oil and gas industry, of which at least 12 years would be experience gained as a Offshore Surveyor with a survey company.
• Extensive experience in deep water geophysical survey related to selection of subsea pipeline routes in deepwater.
• Experience in deep water surveys related to subsea pipeline installation, inspection, span remediation and trenching.
• Experience in the managing major Survey Contracts including direct responsibility for Offshore Survey Vessels.
• Experience in routing of subsea pipelines through undulating terrain that has geohazards, scarps, trench, trough, seismically active zones, 3rd party crossings, etc.
• Experience in AUV surveys for subsea pipelines.
